29 percent increase in rape in England and Wales


According to statistics released by the police in England and Wales reported rape crimes have seen an increase in the threshold level. 

Office of National Statistics (ONS) figures stated in June that year recorded 22,116 rape cases that are more than 29 percent from last year. 

The reason for this increase may be much longer than in the past are beginning to report the number of people affected. 

Crime Survey for England and Wales, although the overall crime has dropped 16 percent since 1981, since that is the lowest. The survey was launched in 1981. 

Crime Prevention Minister Norman Baker says that the alleged victims are willing to come forward.

He said: We recorded in such a heinous crime, the police system is improved and consequently we are seeing this increase.

ONS figures show knife in the incidence of rape has increased 48% above that 199 are now 294.
 
Overall, police recorded crime, fraud and shop lifting, although stable or have increased incidents of theft in stores. 

Incidents of hate crime has seen a five percent increase from last year's 42.236 now 44.480. 

Race hate crime, four percent of religious hate crimes have risen 45 percent. 

According to BBC correspondent in May last year, experts believe that the military had murdered rugby has caused a sharp rise in hate crimes. 

Data released on Thursday, Scotland and Northern Ireland are not included.
