Nobel for  Research on Brain GPS

Studies in the field of physiology or animal organs Nobel Prize has been awarded to three scientists who discovered 'GPS system' of brain.

The scientists was studied the GPS system in the 1970s

UK-based researcher Professor John O. cafes, wine, Bert and Edward Moser Moser received the award jointly.

He had discovered that shows how the brain where we are and they know how to go from one place to another place is found.

Their discovery will help in identifying Alzheimer's disease patients, their surrounding environment, it is difficult to know how.

The Nobel Assembly said that these findings have solved the problem which had experienced centuries, philosophers and scientists.

Professor from University College London and Cafe Indoor Positioning System in 1971, the first portion of the brain was discovered.

He was shown how to experience a part of the rat in the room is a set of nerve cells in the brain is active when it is in another part of the room, then a different set of cells is active

Professor and head of the cafe 'hpukymps' cells in the brain that make a map.

In 2005 Edward I and her husband Bert Bert discovered a portion of the brain that acts like a nautical chart.

This 'grid cells' longitude and latitude lines are like the brain that help to understand the distance.
The spouses Norwegian University of Science and Technology located in the city of trondheim work.

Nobel committee said the combination of grid and place cells in the brain to create a comprehensive puzsnng System or GPS is.

He added that the system dementia (dementia) and other mental disorders, including Alzheimer's disease is affecting the.

Durham University Professor Dr. Colin Lever and laboratory work in cafes and on two occasions he also felt that his former mentor have won this award.

He told the BBC: "He deserves the Nobel Prize, he brought intellectual revolution, their research is really thinking of the future in which he proved that the animal world in the mirror of your mind.

The World in 1971 place cells of the original report was not ready, people did not believe that the characteristic of these cells place was, then why did his research there was much appreciated.

Oxford University Professor John Stein also praised the Nobel Prize, saying: This is great news and they deserve it.

He lives in the 1970s when the "place cells" were discovered all laughed at him.

Now, these are the sort of ideas that are already highly controversial, it is clear that people have seen that.
